one. : this rendition of ππππππππ ππππ is highly nuanced & steeped in headcanon , as developed through my original lore with influences from chinese , japanese & hindu mythology , buddhist beliefs , flower symbolism & much , much more . thematic main focus is momo as the phoenix dousing herself in the flames to become what she was always meant to be .this villainous take on her follows canon up until a certain point ( soul society arc ) , after which it diverges from bleach's canon completely . i will treat momo as my original character at all times , so please approach her like you would any oc ( read their dossier , ask questions ) , & with an open mind .i have been developing momo for over 10 years on various platforms . this portrayal of her ( including any headcanons & ideas ) belongs to me alone , do not steal them .

πππππππππ ππππ originally arrived in the 1st rukon district , junrinan , when her brother , πππππππππ πππππππ , was but a little toddler . together with their grandmother , the family took residence in an abandoned shack in the neighbourhood . life in junrinan was known to be peaceful and lawful-----but the people here still struggled to make ends meet .momo's early life was that of an elder sister in a japanese peasant family of the edo period , with everything that entailed . with her grandmother being weak and frail, the responsibility of raising , feeding & clothing her little brother fell on her shoulders alone . she was basically the de-facto head of the family .tΕshirΕ ... wasn't easy to raise , by any means . he was unruly , with a snappy attitude that often drove his sister to her wit's end . and yet , it was where they had been the happiest .but as tΕshirΕ grew , so did his appetite----which was already quite unusual for a boy his tender age ; no one around them needed much sustenance-----momo & her brother were the only ones with a need for copious amounts of food. they could never afford this much .thus , momo was forced to take up employment . she would find herself taking many an odd job in the latter districts , which ... weren't as peaceful as junrinan was . one day , she helped defend a helpless girl from delinquents that had cornered her-----this was the day her her reiatsu had manifested itself . from that point on, each commission she took on would be more dangerous than the one preceding it .to shield her family from any potential retaliation , momo decided to take on an alias : ππππππππ-----combined with her name, momo ( read as 'out of many' ) , meant a doll of many forests & many paths . only the more educated ( read : the nobility ) could ever figure that one out .
until one day , her employer suggested that she become a πππππππππ ; momo , of course , had already heard of πππ ππππππππ πππππ πππππ ππππππ at that point , but didn't particularly care much for them . she soon found out that the salary of an average shinigami nearly tripled that of her earnings .after saying goodbye to her brother & grandmother , she left to enlist in the shin'o academy under the name hinamori momo. during her study at the academy , she quickly discovered that her talent && affinity for kidΕ were off the charts . said affinity soon caught the eye of the instructor , captain πππππ ππππππ , who chose her personally among the cohort of graduates at that time , knowing full well that other divisions ( like the onmitsukidΕ) were vying for momo as their subordinate .setting foot into the seireitei proper was , however , a huge culture shock for momo . she quickly discovered that she needed to keep her head down ; rukon souls would be spoken of in derogatory , discrininatory terms. not to mention, the sheer opulence . but aizen was different ; kind , gentle and sagely-----momo fell in love .much to her happiness , he seemed to return the affection she had for him , sparking the beginning of a close relationship that spanned for decades , kept secret from the rest of the court guards .and neither of them knew yet just how intrinsic they would become to one another , when she and tΕshirΕ followed the traitor to hueco mundo to enact his plan of replacing the soul king ...
